Prize Draw Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
By entering the Donate and Dine Prize Draw (the “Prize Draw”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Route 61 International, a registered charity in England and Wales (Charity Number: 1189501), has organised this prize draw.
2. Eligibility
2.1. The Prize Draw is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
2.2 Immediate family members of Route 61 International staff, trustees, and volunteers are welcome to participate and enjoy the fun.
2.3 Representatives of Route 61 International and its overseas partners cannot enter.
2.4. Proof of age and residence may be required.
3. Prize Details
3.1. The successful entrant will receive a voucher for a meal for two at The Glasshouse, The Grove Hotel, valid between November 14 2024 and November 14 2025. The prize covers the cost of the meal only.
3.2. The prize does not include drinks, transport, accommodation, or any additional expenses incurred by the successful entrant.
3.3. The successful entrant cannot exchange the voucher for cash or transfer it to another person.
4. How to Enter
4.1. Paid Entry: Each £10 donation made via the designated JustGiving page counts as one entry into the Prize Draw. Multiple entries are permitted—each additional £10 donation counts as another entry.
4.2. Free Entry: To enter without donating, email dineanddonate@route61.net with your full name and contact details before the closing date. Only one free entry per person is allowed.
4.3. Entries received after the closing date will not be included.
5. Closing Date & Successful Entrant Selection
5.1. The Prize Draw closes at 11:59 PM on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
5.2 The prize draw will occur on Friday, March 28, 2025.
5.2. The successful entrant will be drawn randomly from a hat under the supervision of an independent observer to ensure fairness.
5.3. The successful entrant will be notified by email within 5 days of the draw. If the successful entrant does not respond within 7 days, a new successful entrant will be selected.
5.4 The decision is final, and Route 61 will not enter any correspondence regarding the outcome.
6. Prize Delivery
6.1. Route 61 will email the meal voucher to the successful entrant at the email address provided.
6.2. Route 61 International is not responsible for lost, delayed, or misdirected emails.
7. Publicity & Data Protection
7.1. The successful entrant’s first name and last initial may be announced on Route 61 International’s social media and website.
7.2. Route 61 International will only collect and store personal data necessary for administering this prize draw. Route 61 will securely delete personal details provided directly to Route 61 (e.g., via email for free entries) within 30 days after the prize draw closes unless the entrant has opted in to receive further updates.
7.3. Donations and entries made via JustGiving are subject to JustGiving’s privacy policy and data handling procedures. Route 61 International does not control how JustGiving stores or processes personal information. For details, please refer to JustGiving’s Privacy Policy.
8. Legal Considerations
8.1. This Prize Draw is classified as a free prize draw, not a lottery, and is compliant with UK Gambling Commission guidelines.
8.2. Donations made for prize draw entries are not eligible for Gift Aid because donations are linked to the possibility of receiving a prize.
8.3. Route 61 International reserves the right to amend or cancel the Prize Draw if unforeseen circumstances arise.
